The Erasmus student meeting organised by the International Aid and Education Activities Academy (UYAFA) brought together young people from several countries for a productive exchange.
Students studying through the Erasmus programme had the chance to share their academic experience, what they had observed of other cultures, and what they had gained from studying internationally.
Opening the programme, the organisers stressed how Erasmus projects contribute to young people’s personal and academic development, and drew attention to the value of strengthening dialogue between cultures.
Participants exchanged views on different education systems, student life, career planning and international cooperation. Through the event, students presented the cultural values of their own countries while learning about education and social life in Turkey.
Held in an informal atmosphere, the meeting helped young people from different cultures form friendships and understand one another better. Students spoke about the confidence, language skills and international outlook that Erasmus had given them, and offered advice to others considering similar programmes.
